news just in from robert llewellyn on twitter . there is a change of show line up for the new red dwarf . instead of what i mentioned on the post below , the live show has been postponed . there will be an new episode to make up for it so this is what the line up of new red dwarf now looks like :

back to earth - 3 new episodes of red dwarf . 30 minutes each .
the maikng of red dwarf .30 minutes .

still 4 new shows to look forward to .

Well that's cool with me. I thought that unplugged idea just sounded like a cheap way to have a Red Dwarf episode by eliminating the cost of sets and props.

I don't know I was kind of warming to the idea. Thought it would be a bit risky, but if it weren't for experimental stuff the world wouldn't move forward.

i would have liked the idea of the improv version of red dwarf becuase as well as laughing at what goes right i love to see things going worng . also back to earth was to be recorded without a audience as i recall . this improv shjow was supposed to be the on;y ome with an audience .

I think the improv one would be better for a stage show version of dwarf. That idea has been banded around for some time as well.

Oh Yes indeedy that makes it all seem a bit more real...not to sure about the outline forthe 3rd show...but I'll wait and see what its like. My fear is that it breaks the '4th wall'.
